1. Restore iPhone Contacts from iTunes Backup
If you have ever synced your iPhone or backed up your iPhone with iTunes, you can restore iPhone contacts from iTunes backup file.
Note: Keep in mind that iTunes will replace the current data on your iPhone with the data containing in the backup file. If you insist on using it, see following steps:
Step 1. Connect your iPhone to the computer that has your backup.
Step 2. Choose "File" > "Devices" > "Restore from Back up".
2. Restore iPhone Contacts from iCloud Backup
If you're using iCloud to back up your iPhone, it's easy to restore iPhone contacts from iCloud backup.
Note: Unfortunately, to restore your iCloud backup, you will need to erase your device as well.
Step 1. Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap "Erase all content and settings".
Step 2. In the Setup Assistant, proceed to "Set up your device", tap Restore from a Backup, then sign in to iCloud.
Step 3. Proceed to "Choose backup", then choose from a list of available backups in iCloud.
3. Recover iPhone Contacts without iTunes

3. Restore iPhone contacts from iCloud backup
If you have backed up your iPhone with iCloud before, the mode "Recover Data from iCloud Backup File" can help you.
Step 1. Select "Recover Data from iCloud Backup File". And login in with your iCloud account.
Step 2. Select your backup file from the list. Click "Next". Select "Contacts" in the next popup.
Step 3: In the preview window, select the contacts you'd like to recover and click "Recover" to export.
